New Golf rule change 2019

I’m delving into the golfing world to bring you a topic that is popular coming into the playing season and its 2019 rules changes.

European golf’s governing R&A have a great website if you need to familiarise yourself with the changes and there is a handy new book available at most golf clubs. I advise becoming aware and knowledgeable of the new changes because many of them will be in use every time you play and a good understanding may save you some shots!

One in particular I was intrigued to try out and test to see if it would improve my putting stats was putting with the flag in. For me personally I achieved better results with the flag in versus when the flag was out. Here is the video of my results

If you are not local did you know I also offer online lessons via whatsapp, the process is explained here – Online lessons with Steve Furlonger

If you enjoy YouTube, why not visit my channel and check out more of my instructional videos – Steve Furlonger Golf Performance.

I have had many lessons over the years with some of the big names in golf coaching and I was more than impressed with Steves's depth of knowledge and his keen eye to spot areas in my swing for improvement and able to give good drills and feels to aid the changes necessary which is really the difference between great coaches. Thank you Steve, look forward to seeing you again soon.
